Day 30. Is there something that the Sonic series has helped you with or taught you?

Well, the Sonic series has helped me get a bunch of great friends, find a character that I will like for the rest of my life, and give me some games that I will probably play for the rest of my life. As for what it taught me, it taught me not to get too hyped about a game (any game, not just Sonic), because I could be setting myself up for disappointment (i.e. thinking as a 13-14 year old that Sonic 06 was going to be the one of the greatest Sonic games ever and then it turning out to be a terrible game).

And that’s it for the FuckYeaSonic 30 Day Sonic Challenge. If I could find another 30 day challenge relating to wrestling (okay, maybe not this), or another video game series, or just video games in general, then I might do that next.

FuckYeaSonic 30 Day Sonic Challenge

Day 29. If SEGA made a Sonic game just for you, what would you want it to be like (your ideal game)?

Hmm, a Sonic game just for me. Well I won’t get too deep into this:

1. First things first, the name: Tails Adventure 2 (name would be subject to change). I want a new game that stars Tails.
2. Second, the game genre: Action RPG. Not too sure about who would develop the game.
3. The cast: Tails (obviously), the Chaotix and a returning Mighty (if Mighty can’t be brought in, then just the Chaotix), Cream, Amy, and Omega (because I would like if he returned once) are the protagonists, Tails would be more important than the others. The main antagonists would either be the Battle Kukku Army or a new group of villains (or both).
4. Locations: Multiple places over the world. There would be a city resembling London, one resembling Tokyo, one resembling Montreal, and Spagonia and Holoska would be returning. There would also be a few islands the heroes would visit and some other places that I can’t think of right now.
5. Plot: It would be simple: the Battle Kukku Army (and/or new group) would be attacking the Montreal-like city, where Tails is visiting. Tails is forced to fight them and escapes to the London-like city, where he would run into Vector, who was on vacation. They would then go to other places around the world to find others to help them stop the Battle Kukku Army (and/or other forces). Oh yeah, and Sonic can’t help because… he’s in space. Fighting Eggman. With Shadow’s help. Throughout the whole game. They get a cameo at the end though. Knuckles can’t help either because he’s too busy guarding the Master Emerald. He doesn’t appear at all, just gets mentioned once.
6. Platforms: 3DS and Vita.

Day 28. Any character that you wish you were best pals with in real life?

Do I even need to say it? But because some people might somehow have trouble figuring out my answer, I’ll say it anyways:

Tails. Definitely Tails.

Day 27. Something that you wish had never happened in one of the games.

Tails’ Sonic Adventure 1 gameplay being cut in Sonic Adventure 2. I do wish that they would’ve just improved upon it and let Tails do that rather than make him a reskin of Eggman, but oh well, nothing can be done about that now.

Now, if you’re talking storywise, then I wish the “Real Superpower of Teamwork” line in Sonic Heroes never happened.

Day 26. Your favorite chao that you raised - what does it look like/why is it your favorite?

My favorite chao is a chao called “Styles.” I don’t remember exactly what it looked like, but I know it wasn’t pretty. It’s my favorite because it’s the only one I raised before I got bored of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and eventually deleted the save data to start up anew (and then gave up on that save after a few levels).

Day 25. Who is one character you would like SEGA to bring back, and one character you want SEGA to drop?

One character I would like SEGA to bring back is Mighty the Armadillo.

As for one character I would like them to drop, I don’t really have anyone I would like for them to drop.

Day 24. What’s your favorite non-game continuity?

Definitely the Sonic OVA. I didn’t like Sonic X and what I saw of Sonic Underground, and looking back on it, AoSTH isn’t as good as I remembered it to be.

I’ll do the alt question as well: 24 alt. Is there a non-game continuity you’ve been interested in checking out?

The non-game continuities I have not seen are SatAM and the comics (and anything else not listed above). I don’t really have any interest in checking them out.

Day 23. If you could live in any of the zones or places (Station Square, Holoska, Angel Island, etc), which would it be and why?

I wouldn’t really want to live in any of the locations in the Sonic games, but if I had to choose, then I would choose to live in Spagonia, because it’s the first place that I thought of.

Day 22. What’s your favorite type of special or bonus stage, and which is the most infuriating special stage design?

My favorite special stage is Blue Spheres. The most infuriating? In my opinion, the Sonic Heroes special stage, just because the controls irritate me.

Day 19. Your favorite piece of music (zone/act music, lyrical stuff, etc).

Flying Battery Zone. I did say on Day 2 that Hydrocity Zone Act 1 had my favorite song, but I just started to like Flying Battery Zone’s song more since then.

Definitely Sonic.

Which character is the LAST one you’d want to save you?

Definitely Marine (from Sonic Rush Adventure).

Day 16. What’s one Sonic game that you think is highly underrated or overlooked?

Tails Adventure, definitely. While I haven’t played much of it, what little I did play I have enjoyed, and I’m sure I’ll like it even more once I get further into it.
